Global Leadership Program (グローバル リーダーシップ プログラム)

グローバルリーダーコースでは、2017年度より国際社会に対応し、必要とされる人材を育成すべく、『高い英語力と国際社会で活躍できる人材育成を目指す』GLC Global Leadership Programを導入しています。『個人が自分自身の力で問題や課題を解決していくことができる社会技術や能力を獲得すること』『個人の社会機能を、本人自身の内発的な動機により向上させ、社会生活に反映すること』が、このプログラムの目標です。
The Global Leader Course has been running the Global Leadership Program since 2017, with the aim of training talented people with a high English ability who can participate in international society. This program's targets are acquisition of knowledge and social skills, to solve problems and assignments with their own abilities, and for students' personally motivatied, internal social faculties to be reflected in social activity.

Career Experience Program (キャリア体験プログラム)

英語が社内において公用語となっており、グローバルに業務を展開する国際企業の協力のもと、キャリア体験プログラムを実施しています。社員の前での英語による提案型のプレゼンテーションを行って評価をうけるプログラムのほか、指導担当者の業務に同行して、キャリア指導を受けるJob Shadow (ジョブ・シャドウ）プログラムなども実施しています。また、大学生による国際交流団体アイセック(AIESEC)との交流も実施し、一橋大学や東京外国語大学、国際基督教大学、津田塾大学などの学生と英語による熟議は、英語学習の観点からも大きな成果が期待されています。
As English has become a lingua franca in society, we have started a Career Experience Program with the help of international companies who are expanding their operations globally. In addition to giving a presentation of suggestions in English for which they will be evaluated, participants will also assist their advisor with operations and receive career advice through a job shadowing program. Furthermore, participants will interact and work in English with university students from the international exchange group AIESEC, Hitotsubashi University, Tokyo Foreign Language University, International Christian University, and Tsudajuku University. It is expected that this will see a huge improvement in the participants' English abilities.

International Exchange Program (異文化理解プログラム)

2年次に実施をする異文化理解を目的とした国外でのグローバルリーダーキャンプツアーでは、研修先の大学を学習の拠点として、グローバルリーダーシップに関するレッスンのほか、現地の小・中学生との交流やボランティア活動。ユネスコスクールとしてSDGsの観点から自然環境保護や海洋保全について大学生と協働学習を行います。また、3年次には、「米国大学1日研修」を高大連携プログラムとして、Temple University Japan Campus (TUJ)で実施しています。実際の講義に出席し、世界中から集まった学生と一緒に、経済学や政治学、ジェンダー論などについて学びます。グローバルな視点を持って学ぶ学生との英語による交流は、大変に有意義な経験となっています。
In the 2nd year students will have the opportunities to attend the Global Leadership Tour overseas, where they will interact with local elementary and junior high school students through volunteer activities, in addition to having lessons about Global Leadership at a research institution. As a UNESCO School, students will study together with university students about SDGs related to environmental protection and ocean sustainability. Furthermore, in the 3rd year students will join a '1 day of study at an American university,' a joint high school - university program hosted by Temple University Japan Campus (TUJ). Students will attend lectures, meet students from all over the world, and study economics, politics, and gender studies. Interacting with students in English who learn from a global perspective is sure to be a memorable experience.

Volunteer Activities (ボランティア活動)

ロータリークラブの支援のもと、国際ボランティアクラブであるインターアクトクラブの活動に取り組んでいます。地域の清掃活動や募金活動のほか、エコキャップの回収、古着をモンゴルに送る活動、不要になったクレヨンを再生してフィリピンの子供たちに送る『マーブルクレヨンプロジェクト』などに積極的に取り組んでいます。また、ユネスコスクールプロジェクトとして、GLCの生徒が小学校に出向いて授業を行う『高校生が英語の先生』を実施し、地域の子供たちとの交流を行っています。ユネスコやユニセフなど、広く国内外で活動を行っている団体から講師を招いて、自然環境保護や国際事情について学ぶ特別講座も実施し、グローバルリーダーとしての意識を高めます。
With the support of the Rotary Club, the Interact Club works as an international volunteer activities club. In addition to helping with cleanig and fundraising activities locally, the club also collects bottle caps and secondhand clothes to be sent to Mogolia, and recycles unwanted crayons to be sent to children in the Philippines as part of the 'Marble Crayon Project''. In addition, as a UNESCO School project, GLC students will give an English lesson to local elementary school students. Lecturers from UNESCO and UNICEF, as well as other groups which operate in and outside of Japan, will be invited to give special lectures on environmental conservation and international affairs, which will improve students' senses of global leadership.
